Information we may collect from you
We may collect and process the following data about you:
Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.creativeguild.org.uk (our site). This includes information provided at the time of registering as a member, posting or uploading content or material, or requesting services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site;
A record of any correspondence between us;
We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them;
Details of transactions you carry out through our site such as the registration or renewal of your membership with us and your bank account details where you disclose these to us for payment purposes;

Where we store your personal data
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. If you are an existing member, we will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale to you.
If you are a new member, and where we permit our Affiliates to use your data, we (or they) will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this.

Disclosure of your information
We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group from time to time, which means our subsidiaries, any ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006. We may disclose your personal information to any of our Affiliates including, without limitation, where necessary for the provision of any membership benefits, for the provision of information about services which may be of interest to you, and for research and advocacy services relating to the Arts and Creative sector.

In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;
If we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case your personal data will be one of the transferred assets;
Information available to other Members
When you register as a member, you can create a personal profile on our site. The following information will always be available on your profile to other members: your name, your main creative activity or activities and any profile picture or other material posted or uploaded to our site. We will not disclose your contact information to other members and all member contact shall be through our site, unless otherwise initiated between you directly.
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data or following instructions in electronic communications.
