Simon Mundy – Chairman
Simon Mundy is a writer, broadcaster and cultural policy adviser. He has published over a dozen books and served on the boards of many organisations, including Asian Music Circuit, the Sidney Nolan Trust, Bloc – Creative Technology Wales, and the European Union Baroque Orchestra. He was a co-founder and first President of Culture Action Europe. He has served as an advisor to UNESCO, the Council of Europe, the International Music Council and the European Festivals Association. He is a Permanent Fellow of Felix Meritis, Amsterdam.
Ghislaine Boddington – Co-Director
Ghislaine Boddington is an artist researcher, dramaturge, curator and thought leader specialising in body responsive technologies, recognised as an international pioneer in full body telepresence. She has created live links between thousands of participants/audiences across the world for educational, performing arts and creative industries usage since the mid-nineties.
Ghislaine has chaired and keynoted events/conferences in over 30 countries worldwide, most recently in China, USA and East Europe, talking to a diverse range of audiences about the future of virtual physical body interfaces. She is regularly featured on TV, radio and in the press, giving thought shifting inputs to BBC Business World, BBC Click and the New Scientist amongst others.
Sally joined Creative Guild in April 2013. She’s been around creative people all her life and has an open, empathetic and friendly nature which has helped her deal with a wide range of people of all ages and social backgrounds. Her ability to strike up an instant rapport with people even in the most tricky of situations has helped her in her varied career, which includes roles such as supporting artist, coordinator, teacher’s assistant, bar manager and events planner. This makes her the right person to be advising the UK members as she understands the difficulties they may encounter.
Maria Atorrasagasti – Communications and PR
Maria joined Creative Guild in May 2015 as our Communications and PR manager. She moved from Mexico at age 16 and a few years later she completed a degree in Journalism at the London College of Communication. She has worked in the advertising department of Arts London News and has collaborated with magazines such as Schon! and Vice. she currently splits her time as a singer/songwriter and working for the Creative Guild.
